Northumberlandia - the Lady of the North

Business Opportunities

Find out how local businesses can get involved by sponsoring, advertising and supporting Northumberlandia

So, what are the opportunities?
We’d like local businesses to get involved and benefit from this new attraction. There are a number of ways this can happen:

Get involved
Check out the events and let us know if you’d like to participate. If you would like to use the site to host one of your events and support the Lady at the same time, please get in touch.

Donations and sponsorships
As a registered charity, The Land Trust is reliant upon financial support to make sure the site is maintained and protected in the future. If you’d like to make a donation, provide us with some materials/equipment or provide sponsorship we’d love to hear from you and this could provide opportunities to promote your business.
Larger scale sponsorships are also available, so get in touch if you would like to sponsor the site, have your business name on signage, or in the visitor centre.

Northumberlandia Visitor App – Business Directory
We have created a fantastic directory on our Northumberlandia app for all local businesses to be listed on.
With over 100,000 visitors since Northumberlandia opened last autumn, the area has received a great amount of publicity, and therefore leading to more interest and more visitors. This is great news for the local economy, and we are hoping that all businesses in the area will benefit.
With this in mind, we are giving businesses the opportunity to be added to our mobile phone app directory.
With more and more people using smart phones, the numbers of visitors using the app will be considerable. By adding your businesses to the directory, you will be exposing your company to an even wider audience and hopefully reap the benefits.
Each company that has a listing will have a page on the app, which will include an image, an overview of the services/products as well as key contact information, such as telephone number, email address and website link.

Cost
As this is a new app, we are offering businesses the opportunity to be listed on the app for free for the time being.
There may be the introduction of a small annual admin fee in the future, so that we can ensure the app is sustainable and continues to function correctly.
